The Fasching Parade in Malsch

Everyone dresses up for this very cool festival. Malsch is a tiny little town but they had a big parade and Alexa got to catch candy! She now asks all the time if we can go to a parade. She thinks they happen every day! The second picture says it all....a mouth full of candy!

Holding Hands in a Scary Movie...Tinkerbell.

Alexa was watching the movie Tinkerbell and Wendy and Tink were fighting...she leaned over and said to Jon "Should I hold your hand so you won't get scared".

A Loving Daddy!

One morning before work I came down stairs to find Jon sewing up the nose of Alexa's "squirly squirl". She LOVES that little stuffed toy and Kingston had eaten off the nose. Jon sewed it up before Alexa was awake so she never knew. It was a heart melter!
This might be one of my favorite pictures on the blog!

Princess Alexa

Alexa loves this dress! She was a princes for the Fasching celebration here in Germany and loved every moment she got to be dressed up. Some princesses have a magic wand, but this princess has a magic back pack.

Snoopy Snow Cone Machine!

I wanted a snoopy snow cone machine for 30+ years and decided it was finally time to get one...for Alexa of course! We had a great time with that little thing. It's the real deal. We made some nice ice cones!

Reacting to the Christmas Surprise

A Christmas Surprise!

As a surprise for Christmas the family got together and 'redid' Michelle and Steve's family room...new paint, new carpet, couches, tables, curtains...the whole thing! Everyone pitched in and it turned out great! This shows the work in progress...

We worked hard, but things didn't always work out perfectly, right jon? : )

Christmas in DE 2010

Alexa was very gracious at Christmas and took her time opening each gift. It was a treat to watch. She liked every last thing she got! This year she got her first barbie!

These aren't great pictures but my camera died so this is what he have!

We made Gingerbread Houses!

Sasha and I partnered against Jon and Nicky for gingerbread house making. We had to wait for Alexa to sleep because otherwise she would eat it all!

Christmas in DE 2010

Alexa was great at opening gifts and when all was said and done she put everyone on...two sets of pajamas, all hair barrets, a raincoat, back pack, sneakers...all of it!
