Alexa's first day of Kindergarten!
Alexa's First day of Real Kindergarten! It was so exciting!!! New dress, new lunch bag, big smiles, sunny day, overexcited parents, what could be better!! She was adorable and ready. She didn't give us a hard time at all...and in fact, when I dropped her off she was more than eager to have me leave ASAP! Her teacher is Ms. Hodgen who seems super sweet (and young!!) We got all the important first day of school things: art shirt, gym sneakers, #2 pencils, folders etc. and then next thing you know she was off and even took the bus home! Bus #8 :)

Dundee Swim Club with the Cousins!

| Alexa had to pass the swim test to be able to go off this diving board and slide and she ROCKED IT!!! It was a 'Small Olympic' size and out of sheer determination she doggie paddled/swam underwater and got the yellow band! She was SO proud she told everyone at the pool "I passed the swim test". It truly inspired me. She had such fire!! She looked so little compared to the big kids! |
