The Teddy Bear Tea!!

As you see there is an apostrophe in "Alexa's House" I used this to teach her about ownership and apostrophes. A week later we were sparing and I said "you need to do what I ask because this is my house" and she said... Very matter of fact..."this is not your house, it's mine. It doesn't say your name with an apostrophe on the door it says mine"...she is now adamant she owns the house!

Alexa's Last Day in Iowa
The kids made Alexa a great good bye book. Alex was very gracious and said she wanted to say a few words. She told the class (who had mostly left for recess by the time she stood up to speak) that this "really meant a lot to her and when she got lonely she would look at the book." It was SOO cute!!! We brought red and green oreos as a good bye treat.

| It was on this ride that I realized I was afraid of heights! The girls had no fear and were rocking and rolling and I started sweating something awful!!!! I mean truly feeling sick. I tried to keep it together but I was scared out of my mind!! |
